2022-02 Off-the-bitumen bike rides based at Moonan Flat
Twelve members and friends stayed at the Vcitoria Hotel, Moonan Flat and rode across Barrington Tops to Gloucester and return, and across the Liverpool Range to Nundle and return. There were five historic bikes, two modern 4WD support vehicles, and historic Jeep and a modern bike and side-car (outfit). Accommodation and hospitality for the riders at the Victoria Hotel was excellent. Total distance riden was 422 kilometres whilst the Jeep travelled 670 kilometres as it was driven there and not trailered.- Ian and his BMW R75. This is what started it all many years ago. Here, Ian and Anne-Maree are at The Dingo Gate on the western side of Barrington Tops about 2011. Since then we have ridden the trails 2 - 3 times each year and they are still a joy to enperience.
- It's always a pleasure when Bob shouts, and it appears he has few more here for his own personal consumption. After all, the trails were very dusty!
