2019/2025-02 Australia Day Display
Frank enjoying the company of the lizards.
Brad's lovely Australian-bodied De Soto. These '30s cars are becoming increasingly rare.
Ian's Holden Adventra is securing the gate and advertising the presence of MCMA Australian built and assembled cars.
Kevin's wonderful 1913 Fiat has an Australian-built body from Sydney. This presents an era when the coach makers that had formerly supported the horse-drawn industry had moved into car manufacturing.
Peter's ever popular Australian built and assembled Leyland Moke. These cars were very successful in Australia due to their functionality.
Alan's Ford Escort is always meticulously displayed. Here he is describing the finer points of his car.
Deb's Ford Capri was very popular here and was exported to the USA. They are very collectable.
A shady camp site for our members with Fords.
David's Ford Capri complements the lovely Capri display with Deb's.
Peter's pristine Ford F150 was assembled with many others in Australia for about 10 years.
The lizards were amazing, and it appears Sue is up and ready to run.
Graeme's Ford Fairlane. These Fords from the late '60s and early '70s were, and now, even more popular.
Frank (left) and Garry with their wonderful Australian Holdens - FJ ute (Frank's) and LH Torana (Garry's).
Here they are again with Frank's iconic FJ Holden ute.
Trevor and Veronica's trophy winning EH Holden. These cars were mainly built in 1964, and were and still are, very very popular.
Mick's lovely and totally original Holden Calais represents a period late last century when these cars and the Ford Falcon were some of the best cars for Australian conditions.
Look at this one! The last of the iconic Monaros. They are still 'head-turners'. Remember when they won the Bathurst 24 Hour twice in a row, and with a 1-2 finish in the second one.
Another of Trevor and Veronica's trophy winners - an FJ Holden ute. It looks great here with Frank's FJ ute in the background.
Here's another iconic Holden - a fabulous Brock Commodore owned by Maitland's No 1 Peter Brock fan, John.
An LH Holden Torana SLR 5000. Julie is the proud owner of this beauty. Most of us wanted one of these in the '70s.
The '70s and the '80s. Beautiful high performance Holdens from Julie and John.
Sean and Ian look entertained but a little wary of the lizards.
Lindsay's Chrysler is the last of the Australian Valiants. It's a good one too - manual transmission and a genuine one-owner. It's been to Tasmania and number of times and also a across the Nullarbor and back.
Brad (left) with Brett and Charmaine and their 'spot-on' Valiant Regal.
This is David's lovely Valiant Pacer. He's owned it since new and he's not parting with it.
Jackie's fabulous Harley and sidecar at the entrance to Maitland Park. Absolutely unmissable!
Jeff's impressive Valiant Charger. This and Andrew's are 'beauties'! Remember the "Hey Charger" advertisement.
John and Maria's Chrysler announces its presence wherever it goes, and justifiably so.
Andrews fabulous Charger. It's picture-perfect in this photograph and even better in the flesh.
