2022-09 Annual Concourse Show n Shine Cars on the west of the display area
This was an excellent event with about 100 vehicles displayed and about 150 participants. Due to COVID this has been our first concourse show 'n shine since 2019. The variety of vehicles in our club is amazing, as is the quality of the vehicles. Members received a free barbeque breakfast and lunch. We had a coffee van in attendance, a raffle earning $420 for our charities (Little Wings and Riding for the Disabled), and Mick's stall selling club and other memorabilia. Due to the rain and wet grounds, we had difficulty sourcing a venue. Tocal College was very accommodating and flexible in their offer of a carpark which was an excellent venue. We hope to return in 2023. This album features the cars parked on the western side of our display area..- Kerry's prestigious Holden Premier with Barry's lovely Holden FJ.
- George with Peter and his excellently restored Leyland Moke.
- Graeme's Ford Fairlane, with selective GT enhancements, represents those great times of Australian motoring
- Gordon, Chris and Graeme are just 'very naughty boys' sitting on the running board of Dave's magnificent Vauxhall 23/60.
- Graeme shows off his excellently presented Falcon GT to Chris.
- Jim's Buick looks the Hollywood goods, with us thinking 1950s film stars just parked the car here and headed onto the set.
- Earl's very original and tidy Ford Telstar, an '80s car produced by Mazda.
- Flavia, Nick, Wayne and Gordon with Wayne's military truck.
- Jenny with her and Wayne's impressive Landrover military ambulance.
- Mick and Flavia's classic Rover looking very much the military staff car.

- John and Colleen's Packard stately sits wherever it is parked, and commands attention and admiring comments.

- Another angle of that great Chrysler Valiant of Lindsay and Ann.

- Margaret with her, and Greg's, VB Holden Commodore SLE. These cars were 'world beaters' when launched in 1978. This car is a wonderful example of the first Commodore and the vision of car manufacturing in Australia in 'the good old days'.
- In 1968, these cars 'were a breath of fresh air'. They won Bathurst in 1968 and 1969. Dave's car is fabulous and we greatly appreciated his efforts as a concourse judge.

- John admires Mathew's stunning Corvette which is in amazing contrast to Jason's Model T Ford in the background.
