2021-02 MONTE PIO BREAKFAST RUN Veteran and Vintage Cars
On Sunday February 7th nineteen members enjoyed a fine breakfast at the Mercure Monte Pio at Campbells Hill. A special invitation was extended to drivers of veteran and vintage cars and we were delighted that one veteran and five vintage cars participated. These fine cars were strongly supported by six more modern historics.- Anne-Maree and Ian with their 1924 Buick, the oldest vehicle in their stable.
- Anne-Maree playing hitch-hiker with Kevin and his 1913 Fiat.
- Ann and Darryl with their fabulous 1931 Anniversary Model Buick.
- The only veteran was Kevin's eye-catching 1913 Fiat. Kevin himself is a more modern classic.
- Andrew and his very collectable 1929 Chevrolet.
- A proud Bob with his dignified 1926 Rolls Royce.
- Bob looking even prouder with his 1926 Rolls Royce.
- Ian and Anne-Maree with their 1924 Buick on its first official MCMA run in many years.
- Ann and Darryl love to drive and show their delightful 1931 Buick.
- Ghostly reflections in the a Ford Model A windscreen. The ghosts include a skeleton, Anne-Maree, and Barry. Others include a Ford Model A bonnet and XY Falcon, a late model Commodore, a Volvo 240, a Buick and a 1960s brick veneer.
- Barry's 1929 Ford Model A is beautifully presented.
